7 Days - Highlights of Uganda Tour

About the Trip

Your 7-day trip brings you the highlights of Uganda, where the savannah meets the rainforest. Expect to see the animals/wildlife of the savannahs (lions, elephants, buffalos, hippos, leopards) and gorillas and chimps in their mist!!!

This trip specifically includes the most beautiful and well known national park in Uganda. Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi National Park, Lake Bunyonyi and Lake Mburo National Park.

Nkozi – Lake Mburo National Park
Your guide will pick you from Nkozi university at and drive through a highway with scenery, interesting views, drive through lake mburo national park, visit the crater, afternoon game drive. overnight at Mpogo Safari lodge(FB).

Lake Mburo – lake Bunyonyi
After an early morning breakfaster, do a simple game drive to increase the chances of seeing wildlife like Baffolos, Zebras, Impala etc. and drive to kabale, have lunch in kabale town and proceed to the most Beautiful Lake, lake bunyonyi. Depending on weather, do an evening game drive and overnight at CEPHAS INN (BB).

Lake Bunyonyi - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
AFTER break fast, drive via kabale town, visit the Bakiga museum AND drive through interesting communities with their culture to Bwindi for overnight BUHOMA COMMUNITY CAMP (FB).

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Gorilla tracking. For those who are not tracking, they can take a nature walk (optional activity)BUHOMA COMMUNITY REST CAMP (BB).

Bwindi Impenetrable national park – Queen Elizaberth National Park
After Break faster that refreshes you from the memories of Gorilla Tracking as well as optional nature walk, drive to queen Elizaberth National Park for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel, the longest channel in the world that seperates 2 great rift valley lakes Edward and George. Seeing Uganda on water is so amazing enjoy water birds, crocodile, Hippos, rift valley escapment views while on this boat cruise. There are also other things a guide can take you through depending on Time. overnight at Bush Lodge (FB).

Queen Elizabeth National Park
QENP is the most beautiful National park of 10 national parks in the country. On a lucky day, It will introduce you to lions, leopards, hynas, elephants, baffollos, among other wildlife species. Therefore, an Early morning game drive is ideal, make a visit to the Equator and Kasese town in case time allows and overnight BUSH LODGE (BB).

Karinzu Chimpanzee Tracking
In the morning depending on time and energy level from tracking, you will follow the guides advice if you can transfer to Nkozi or have an overnight in Mbarara. ACACIA LODGE OR HOTEL OXFORD (BB).
